ZIARAT, BALOCHISTAN — A construction company’s camp, located about six kilometers from Khani Cross towards Ziarat city, came under attack on the night of November 10. Around 15 to 20 terrorist organization armed men stormed the site at 9:30 p.m., locked staff members in their rooms, abducted the site foreman, and set fire to heavy machinery, including a grader, roller, generator, crushing plant, and staff quarters.
This is the latest in a series of militant attacks targeting development projects across Balochistan.
Repeated Attacks on the Same Camp
The same camp was attacked on November 2, during which one employee was kidnapped and the company was warned to stop construction work. Despite written requests, no Levies personnel were deployed to secure the site.
In Dera Murad Jamali on November 8, two excavator drivers—Ashiq Ali Muhammad Hassani and Shakeel Ahmed Korai—were abducted near Notal Police Station, while their machinery was left behind.
