An earthquake struck the Zhob district of Balochistan and surrounding areas on Saturday, causing panic among residents.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake measured 4.8 on the Richter scale with a depth of 10 kilometers. The epicenter was pinpointed 135 kilometers southeast of Zhob.
The tremors prompted people to flee their homes and workplaces in fear. Fortunately, there were no immediate reports of casualties or property damage.
Authorities have advised citizens to stay vigilant and adhere to safety protocols in the event of aftershocks.
