Security personnel deployed in the rugged terrain of Washuk, Balochistan, during counter-terrorism operations.

Washuk, Balochistan: Security forces killed three terrorists affiliated with Fitna Al-Hindustan during an intelligence-based operation near Besima in Washuk district on September 7, 2026, according to security forces.

The operation was conducted under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 after credible intelligence indicated the presence of terrorists in the area.  Security forces launched an intelligence-based operation to locate and neutralise the terrorists.

During the advance, the terrorists reportedly attempted to launch an ambush against the security forces. The forces responded swiftly and effectively, targeting the terrorists’ position and preventing them from carrying out the planned attack.

Security forces subsequently cordoned off the area and blocked possible escape routes. The operation resulted in the killing of three Fitna Al-Hindustan terrorists.

A significant quantity of weapons, ammunition and other sensitive material was also recovered from the terrorists’ possession, according to security officials. The recovery further highlighted the operational preparations of the terrorists in the area.

The Washuk operation is part of intensified counter-terrorism efforts under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, which has seen security forces conduct intelligence-based and targeted operations against terrorist elements across Balochistan.

The latest action comes amid a series of operations against Fitna Al-Hindustan in the province. Security forces recently conducted operations in Kharan, Noshki and Khadkocha, targeting terrorist hideouts and militant positions. In Nushki, an intelligence-based operation using an armed quadcopter targeted a terrorist hideout, resulting in the reported killing of seven terrorists. In Kharan, nine terrorists were killed after security forces acted on intelligence regarding a planned roadblock near a major highway.

Meanwhile, clearance operations have continued in Khadkocha, including efforts to locate and neutralise terrorists and clear improvised explosive devices reportedly planted in civilian areas.

The successive operations demonstrate the continued emphasis on intelligence gathering, targeted action and area clearance to prevent terrorist groups from establishing positions or disrupting security in Balochistan.

Security forces have reiterated their resolve to continue operations against terrorist elements until the threat is eliminated and peace and security are restored in affected areas.
