Three major disciplines—Management Sciences, Education, and Chemistry—at the University of Gwadar are to start MPhil and MS classes. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir led the high-level meeting to discuss and decide on administrative and academic matters, which led to the formation of decisions.
The meeting was attended by several key figures. Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Manzoor Ahmed was present. Registrar Daulat Khan also attended the meeting. Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, was in attendance. The Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, Dr. Mohibullah, participated as well. Director QEC, Dr. Rabia, joined the meeting. Director ORIC, Dr. Muhammad Irshad, was also present. Fida Hussain, Chairman of Management Sciences, attended. Other heads of departments were also part of the meeting.
The meeting decided that MPhil and MS programs would begin next semester. The participants discussed the details for the second meeting of the University Senate, scheduled for later this month, and passed on necessary instructions.
Altogether, this meeting became a venue to discuss the important growth of academia and administration. It showed the commitment of the university to open the door to education, research, and governance to be excellent. The cooperation of the university management and faculty is a show of the mutual buy-in of the faculty and the administration towards the path of sustainability, which they see as the seat of the educational system.

They also pledged to ensure better facilities for the students. Other issues how to improve the university’s administrative and academic efficiency were also considered.
