Pakistan to present evidence of India's role in Balochistan school bus bombing at the UN

Pakistan will present evidence at the United Nations (UN) linking India to a recent suicide bombing attack in Balochistan. The bombing, which targeted a school bus in the Khuzdar district,  claimed six lives, including four children.

Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, Pakistan’s UN representative, strongly condemned the attack, calling it “a heinous act against innocent children.” He announced plans to present a dossier to the UN, detailing India’s involvement in terrorism aimed at destabilizing Pakistan, particularly in Balochistan. The dossier will include specific evidence of linkages and individuals involved.

This is not Pakistan’s first attempt to highlight India’s actions. Previous efforts to list Indian nationals for violent activities were reportedly blocked by some UN Security Council members. Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad emphasized the need for an unbiased global response to hold responsible nations accountable.

Separately, the ambassador raised concerns over India’s unilateral suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, calling it an existential threat to Pakistan. Several countries expressed alarm at India’s actions during a recent UN Security Council meeting, viewing them as violations of international law.
