The federal government has decided to transfer seven officers of the Police Service of Pakistan to Balochistan in response to the province’s ongoing law and order situation.
According to a notification from the Establishment Division, the services of these officers, all Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) in Grade 17, have been temporarily transferred to the Balochistan government for one year.
The officers include Saad Afridi, Mohammad Shahrukh Khan, Usman Aziz Mir, Nauman Zafar, Syed Talal Ahmad Shah, Ahmed Nasrullah Malik, and Muhammad Badar Bakht. These officers were previously serving in various provinces and with the Frontier Constabulary.
This strategic allocation is aimed at bolstering the police force in Balochistan to address its security challenges.
