Pakistan Railways has suspended three passenger trains the Karachi–Quetta Bolan Mail, the Karachi–Peshawar Khushal Khan Khattak Express, and the Karachi–Lahore Shah Hussain Express train due to a significant drop in the number of passengers. The suspension of the Shah Hussain Express train is expected to last until September 6.
Officials have confirmed that passengers affected by these cancellations will be accommodated on other available trains to minimize inconvenience.
In addition to the suspensions, several other trains departing from Karachi are experiencing delays. The Karachi–Sialkot Allama Iqbal Express is delayed by one hour, now departing at 4:30 pm. The Karachi–Rawalpindi Pakistan Express will leave 1.5 hours late at 3:30 pm, and the Karachi–Lala Musa Millat Express is delayed by one hour, with a new departure time of 6:00 pm.
While no specific reason was given for the delays, railway officials assured passengers that schedules are being adjusted for those affected.
