Terrorists Loot Rs220 Million from Cash Van on Balochistan M-8
Armed terrorists carried out a major heist on the M-8 Highway in Kech district, looting more than Rs220 million from a cash van before fleeing the scene.
Police officials said the incident occurred near Khudan Cross, where the cash van was stopped at gunpoint. The terrorists held the vehicle staff hostage during the robbery and escaped with Rs220.5 million belonging to two banks.
Local police confirmed the incident and said investigations are under way.
This latest attack comes amid a series of similar incidents in Balochistan. On May 30, Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) terrorists looted a bank in Surab, while earlier this year a bank in Zehri, Khuzdar was also targeted.
Security forces have intensified search operations in the area to track down the perpetrators of the latest robbery.
