A terrorist attack in Bolan district Balochistan was foiled after security forces and police responded swiftly in the Bhag Nari area. Armed militants attempted to loot the National Bank and launch coordinated assaults on Bhag Nari Police Station and City Police Station, but the terrorist attack in Bolan was repelled due to the quick action of security personnel.
According to police officials, terrorists tried to storm the bank and police stations, triggering an intense exchange of fire. Inspector Lutf Ali Khosa embraced martyrdom, while one police constable sustained injuries. In the retaliatory response, five terrorists were killed and two others were wounded. The assailants managed to carry away their injured accomplices while retreating from the area.
The Bolan terrorist attack also damaged the Levies Station, and the attackers reportedly attempted to target the Tehsil Office. Security forces have cordoned off the entire Bhag Nari area and launched a large-scale clearance operation to track down the fleeing militants.
In July 2025, BLA armed men launched a violent attack on the Tehsil Office and three banks in Mastung. The attackers set vehicles and administrative records ablaze, with eyewitnesses reporting loud explosions as the fire engulfed the area. A 16-year-old boy passing by was killed in the attack, and eight others sustained injuries.
This latest incident highlights the resurgence of militant activity in Balochistan, where security forces continue to confront terrorist groups targeting development projects, police stations, and public institutions.
