No activities against the state will be tolerated: Sarfraz Bugti

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti emphasized that the state’s writ will be upheld at all costs, adding that no highway closures or anti-state activities will be tolerated.

The chief minister declared that the government would take strict action against employees involved in anti-state propaganda or activities during a meeting to review the province’s overall situation.At the start of the meeting, attendees offered prayers for those martyred in terrorist incidents within the province.

The chief minister directed commissioners and district officers to identify employees involved in anti-state activities and to take legal action against them. Sarfaraz Bugti announced that all educational institutions across Balochistan must sing the national anthem and hoist the national flag, warning that any non-compliant head of an institution must resign.

Additionally, the chief minister said that maintaining the state writ is the constitutional duty of every government official. The government advised any official unable to work according to its policy to voluntarily resign. He further asserted that authorities would not tolerate extortion at any checkpoints in Balochistan, warning that they would immediately arrest the SHO or Levies’ risaldar involved if complaints arose.

The chief minister instructed district officers to promote government policies during public gatherings and inform citizens about opportunities being provided for the province’s youth in education and development. He criticized anti-state elements for pushing Baloch youth into a futile conflict, reiterating that such activities yield no positive outcomes. Bugti condemned acts such as killing passengers and innocent laborers as barbaric and against the traditions of Balochistan.

Sarfaraz Bugti stated that the focus should be on leading Balochistan’s youth towards development and prosperity rather than conflict. He also emphasized prioritizing merit at all levels to restore the trust of youth in the system. To support youth employment, he announced that interest-free loans are being provided in collaboration with the Akhuwat Foundation, an NGO.
