A horrific terrorist attack took place in Tehsil Buleda of Turbat district, Balochistan, where armed terrorists of the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) targeted a residential house, killing six members of the same family, including innocent children.
According to police officials, the incident occurred on Tuesday, when terrorists fired a mortar shell at the house, followed by indiscriminate gunfire. The attackers then set the house on fire with the occupants still inside, leading to the tragic loss of lives.
Authorities confirmed that six people died on the spot, while three others sustained critical injuries. The injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where they are currently receiving medical treatment.
Officials said that all those killed belonged to one family, making the incident one of the most gruesome attacks on civilians in the area in recent times.
Following the attack, an atmosphere of deep grief and anger has spread across Turbat, Buleda, and surrounding areas. Local residents strongly condemned the attack, stating that targeting civilians and children cannot be described as any form of struggle or resistance.
“This is open terrorism and sheer brutality,” locals said, adding that such acts have no connection with Baloch traditions, values, or humanity.
Residents further said that killing innocent children reflects cowardice and a defeated mindset, not any political or ideological cause.
Security agencies have launched an investigation, while additional security measures have been put in place in the area.
On the night of January 31, 2026 ended life for an entire family in Noshki, when armed men belonging to the banned Balochistan Liberation Army stormed the home of religious preacher and schoolteacher Mufti Amshad Ali.
