Security forces have killed six terrorists belonging to militant outfit Fitna Al-Hindustan during an intelligence-based operation in Dalbandin, Balochistan, officials confirmed on Wednesday.
According to security sources, the operation successfully dismantled the group’s regional network in the area. All six militants were eliminated after a brief exchange of fire.
The terrorists were hiding in a mountain cave, where they had taken refuge for several days. Security forces maintained continuous aerial surveillance before carrying out a precision strike at the right moment.
Officials said the operation’s success was the result of strong coordination between intelligence agencies and security forces, ensuring a swift and decisive outcome.
The sources added that the operation marks a major blow to the terrorist network’s structure in the region, as Fitna Al-Hindustan has been involved in multiple attacks targeting law enforcement personnel and civilians in recent months.
In a separate incident, two police officers were martyred in Noshki when unidentified gunmen opened fire on them, while the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) killed five terrorists in a targeted operation in Sibi, Balochistan.
Authorities said that counter-terrorism operations will continue across the province to eliminate remaining threats and restore lasting peace.
