Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that Pakistan is well-equipped to respond to acts of aggression, with Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos serving as a testament to this capability. In his remarks, the premier expressed profound sorrow over the loss of 40 innocent lives, including women and children, due to India’s aggression.
He offered prayers for the elevation of the martyrs’ status and for the strength of their families. ‘We will always remember the sacrifices of our martyrs,’ the prime minister declared.He announced a special assistance package for the martyrs, ensuring full state support for their families. ‘We will not abandon them,’ he pledged.

In reference to the retaliatory military operation, Prime Minister Shehbaz stated that Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos demonstrated our capability to respond effectively. He emphasized that India has come to understand the necessity of respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of neighboring countries.
He commended the Pakistan Armed Forces for dispelling India’s belief in its numerical advantage. ‘We are a nation committed to peace, yet we are fully prepared to address any acts of aggression — Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos stands as irrefutable evidence of this,’ he concluded.
