From Balochistan to Beijing, the She Power initiative is empowering young women to make their mark on an international stage! Launched by Romina Khurshid Alam and supported by the Embassy of China in Pakistan, the program has not only transformed lives locally but is now enabling young women from Balochistan to represent Pakistan in China.
These change makers, trained through “She Power,” will visit various colleges in China, exchanging ideas and learning from their peers. This landmark program, which started in schools, focuses on improving schoolgirls’ health and hygiene education, equipping them with valuable knowledge and practices for a healthier future.
H.E. Mr. Jiang Zaidong, the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, reflected on its significance, saying, “This project is very meaningful; it demonstrates the power of women. Just like in China, women in Pakistan contribute to social development and happiness.”
This cross-border collaboration marks a proud moment for Balochistan and a significant milestone in the drive for inclusivity and progress. With more initiatives on the horizon, the partnership between China and Pakistan continues to foster a brighter, more inclusive tomorrow for young women in the region.
