After a bomb explosion at Shahwani Stadium in Quetta, The Balochitan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti immediately returned from Quetta Airport to the Chief Minister Secretariat to monitor the situation and oversee relief efforts.
Upon his arrival, CM Sarfaraz Bugti directed the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Balochistan to investigate the incident and submit a detailed report. He instructed Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakr, Secretary Health Balochistan, and other relevant officials to personally visit hospitals and supervise medical arrangements for the injured.

Special arrangements were also ensured at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), where six injured individuals were transferred for treatment under the CM’s orders. Security at hospitals was further tightened to prevent any untoward incidents. The Chief Minister remained actively involved in assessing the situation late into the night, receiving continuous updates on the treatment and medical facilities provided to the injured.
CM Sarfaraz Bugti also directed that, if necessary, the government’s air services be used to transfer seriously injured patients to Karachi for specialized treatment on doctors’ advice. All injured individuals must receive the best possible medical care. The government of Balochistan is committed to providing all available resources for their medical relief,” he stated.
