Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind has said that security forces are carrying out operations in sensitive areas where it’s often hard to tell who is a threat and who isn’t. He highlighted the need for teamwork and public support to bring lasting peace to the province.
Shahid Rind confirmed that after a key suspect was arrested in Quetta, investigations have been expanded. Acting on intelligence reports about target killers, security forces carried out multiple raids and arrested several suspects.
One of those briefly detained was lawyer Zameer Advocate. However, he was released after initial investigations showed he was not involved in any wrongdoing.

Shahid Rind explained that operations across Balochistan are ongoing to maintain law and order. We’ve said before these are grey areas, and it’s not always clear who the enemy is, he said.
He also assured that no innocent person would be harmed and that all questioning is part of the legal process. “Peace isn’t possible without support from the people,” he added.
The provincial government, he said, remains committed to restoring peace and security throughout Balochistan.
