On Monday, ISPR said that security forces eliminated twelve terrorists affiliated with ‘Indian proxy’ groups, while two personnel were martyred during separate encounters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that security forces carried out intelligence-based operations (IBOs) on Saturday and Sunday, targeting the banned militant group Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan in KP and the proscribed Balochistan Liberation Front in Balochistan.
One IBO took place in the Lakki Marwat district, where troops engaged the enemy at their location, resulting in the demise of five terrorists supported by India. In another IBO in Bannu district, security forces successfully neutralized two terrorists also backed by India.
He further stated that terrorists ambushed a convoy of security forces in a separate incident in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan district, resulting in the demise of two terrorists supported by India, following a swift and effective response from the troops.

Furthermore, during the fierce exchange of gunfire, two valiant soldiers, Sepoy Farhad Ali Turi (29 years old, from Kurram district) and Lance Naik Sabir Afridi (32 years old, from Kohat district), fought heroically and ultimately made the ultimate sacrifice, achieving martyrdom.
The ISPR stated that sanitization operations are underway to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the vicinity. The security forces of Pakistan remain resolute in their commitment to eradicate the threat posed by terrorism supported and orchestrated by India through its proxies, and the sacrifices made by our courageous soldiers only serve to reinforce our determination.
In the initial encounter in Balochistan, military personnel confronted terrorists in the Gishkur area of Awaran district, resulting in the death of ‘Indian-sponsored terrorist Younas’ during a fierce exchange of gunfire, while two others sustained injuries.
Additionally, in a separate operation in Turbat City, located in Kech district, security forces effectively neutralized two Indian-sponsored terrorists, identified as terrorist ring leader Sabr Ullah and Amjad, also known as Bichoo, according to the ISPR.
Law enforcement seized weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the terrorists, who carried out criminal activities and targeted innocent civilians.
Pakistan’s security forces are actively conducting sanitization operations to eliminate remaining terrorists. They are determined to disrupt efforts by Indian proxies to undermine the peace, stability, and progress of Balochistan, aligning themselves with the nation.
