
A security forces operation in Turbat led to the killing of a militant and the arrest of another suspect, while a coordinated terrorist attack near Tump in Balochistan was also successfully foiled, officials said.
According to security sources, militants attempted to launch a surprise attack near Apsi Kahan, close to Tump, in an apparent bid to create panic in the area. Security personnel responded swiftly and repelled the assault, maintaining control of all defensive positions.
Officials said the attackers were forced to retreat after the prompt response from security forces, preventing any major damage or disruption in the area.
In a separate development, security forces launched a search and clearance operation in Turbat, targeting militants linked to a group referred to by authorities as “Fitna al-Hindustan.”
During the security forces operation in Turbat, an exchange of fire took place between militants and security personnel.
As a result of the encounter:

One militant was killed on the spot.

Another suspect was captured in injured condition.
During the gun battle, one security personnel was also injured. Officials said the soldier is in stable condition and receiving medical treatment.
