Balochistan security forces conducting intelligence-based operations against militants and criminal networks
Balochistan security forces eliminate over 100 militants and conduct more than 200 intelligence-based operations to curb crime, smuggling, and terrorist threats.

Security forces operation in Balochistan has killed 22 terrorists in two major intelligence-based actions. In Quetta’s Ghaza Band, 10 TTP terrorists were eliminated on Wednesday, while in Khuzdar’s Zehri area, 12 BLA and BLF militants have so far been neutralized in an ongoing operation.

Ghaza Band Operation – TTP Tashkeel Eliminated

According to confirmed reports, the joint IBO was carried out in the Ghaza Band mountains on the outskirts of Quetta, after intelligence agencies tracked a TTP terrorist tashkeel planning attacks in the region.

During a heavy exchange of fire, 10 terrorists were killed, while two soldiers sustained injuries. Security forces also recovered a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives.

Officials said the neutralized TTP formation was actively involved in multiple terrorist attacks around Quetta.

Zehri Operation – BLA & BLF Militants Targeted

Meanwhile, in the mountainous Zehri area of Khuzdar, security forces have been engaged in an ongoing counter-terrorism operation against BLA and BLF militants.

So far, 12 terrorists have been killed, with the operation continuing to clear the area of hostile elements.

Sources said the militants were attempting to use local residents as human shields, coercing them at gunpoint for shelter and support. Despite this, forces have adopted a precise, target-based strategy, ensuring the protection of civilians and their properties.

“Zehri’s people now know that these Indian-backed groups are the biggest obstacle to peace and progress in Balochistan,” security officials noted.

The two operations — one concluded today in Quetta and one ongoing in Khuzdar — mark a decisive blow against both TTP terrorist formations and India-backed separatist outfits BLA and BLF.

Security officials reaffirmed that law enforcement agencies remain fully committed to eliminating terrorism from the province.

“No hideout will be spared, and no terrorist network will be allowed to regroup,” a source emphasized.

The crackdown comes after a recent surge in militant activity in Balochistan, including deadly attack in Quetta. Authorities reaffirmed their resolve to continue decisive, intelligence-led operations against both separatist and extremist networks.
