Security forces killed 15 terrorists in intelligence-based operations in Harnai and Basima districts of Balochistan, according to ISPR.

Security forces killed 15 terrorists in two separate intelligence-based operations in Balochistan, the military’s media wing said on Saturday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations were conducted against militants involved in terrorism and backed by hostile elements operating in the province.

12 Militants Killed in Harnai Operation

The first intelligence-based operation (IBO) was carried out on March 5 in Harnai district after security agencies received credible intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists belonging to Fitna-al-Khawarij.

During the operation, security forces effectively targeted the terrorists’ hideout. A fierce exchange of fire followed, resulting in the killing of 12 militants, the ISPR statement said.

3 BLA Terrorists Eliminated in Basima

In a separate intelligence-based operation in Basima district, security forces targeted militants linked with Fitna-al-Hindustan, also known as the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).

Security personnel used various weapons to neutralize the threat. After an intense gun battle, three terrorists backed by hostile foreign elements were killed, according to the statement.

Weapons and Explosives Recovered

Security forces also recovered weapons, ammunition, and explosive materials from the killed militants. Officials said the terrorists were involved in multiple attacks targeting civilians and security forces in the region.

Clearance Operation Underway

A clearance operation is currently underway to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area.

The statement further said that Pakistan’s security forces and law-enforcement agencies remain determined to eradicate terrorism, continuing operations under the National Action Plan and the federal apex committee’s approved vision “Azm-e-Istehkam.”
