The Balochistan government has imposed Section 144 across the province for 15 days with immediate effect due to the current law and order situation throughout Balochistan.
An official notification issued by the Additional Chief Secretary Home Department on Friday stated that the Balochistan government, exercising powers under sub-section (6) of Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code 1898, has implemented a complete ban on the display and use of weapons, pillion riding, tinted glass on vehicles, unregistered motorcycles, and gatherings, sit-ins, processions, or rallies of five or more persons.

The ban also covers face coverings in public places, particularly through the use of mufflers, masks, or any other means that obstruct identification throughout the entire province. These restrictions are effective immediately from August 31, 2025, to September 14, 2025, for a period of 15 days.
