4 students killed, several injured in school bus attack in Khuzdar: DC

A tragic explosion in Khuzdar on Wednesday targeted a school bus near Zero Point, claiming five lives, including three children, and leaving 35 others injured. Officials confirmed the injured were immediately transported to CMH Khuzdar for medical care as authorities secured the area for evidence collection.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) condemned this heinous act, attributing it to Indian-sponsored terrorism in Balochistan. The ISPR emphasized that such cowardly attacks, targeting innocent children, underline the use of terrorism as a state policy by the Indian government.

ISPR vowed to expose the perpetrators to the world and bring them to justice, stating, “Pakistan Armed Forces, with the support of a brave Pakistani nation, stand united to uproot Indian-sponsored terrorism in all its forms.”

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the school bus attack, expressing profound sorrow over the loss of innocent lives. He conveyed heartfelt condolences to the grieving families and directed authorities to provide the injured with immediate medical attention. Furthermore, he called for the identification and prosecution of those responsible for this atrocious act.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi echoed similar sentiments, terming the attack a barbaric conspiracy aimed at destabilizing Pakistan. “The enemy has shown its vile face by targeting schoolchildren,” he stated, adding that the nation’s unity would overcome such despicable attempts to create instability. Naqvi assured the public that the perpetrators would face justice and prayed for the quick recovery of the injured.
