The meeting also reviewed the progress of ongoing development projects in the province. CM Sarfraz Bugti told all departments to ensure that projects are completed on time, with transparency and high-quality work. He emphasized that all small projects that have received full funding must be completed by January 1 next year. He clearly stated that poor work or delays would not be tolerated.
To keep better track of development work, he directed that all departments must submit a monthly report showing the progress of projects and how funds are being used. He also ordered the creation of a proper monitoring system to check the performance of each department. He warned that strict action would be taken against any officers who are found delaying or neglecting their responsibilities.
CM Sarfraz Bugti said that the government is using public money for the benefit of the people, and there must be honesty, speed, and accountability in every step.
The meeting also discussed the education sector. The Chief Minister directed that reforms in the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education should be accelerated. He said the board should be turned into a model institution based on transparency and merit.
Sarfraz Bugti also called for a full review of foreign-funded and federal projects in the next meeting. He said that instead of preparing project proposals from behind desks, officials should visit sites and prepare practical and realistic plans. The system of using concept papers is being ended, and now all projects must be submitted with proper PC-1 plans.
The Chief Minister said that each department must get approval for its projects at least three months before the new budget, so that work can start on time and without delays.
