A viral social media post has falsely claimed that Bollywood actor Salman Khan has been placed on the Pakistan Terror Watchlist. The rumor, based on an edited circular shared by a BLA-linked account, is entirely fake. Balochistan Pulse investigated the claim and confirms that no such action has been taken by the Government of Balochistan or the Home Department of Pakistan.
How the Fake Claim Started
The controversy began when a Twitter account named Pirdan Baloch, reportedly affiliated with the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), shared an edited circular supposedly issued by the Home and Tribal Affairs Department, Balochistan.

The document falsely described Salman Khan as an “Azad Balochistan Facilitator” and was dated October 16, 2025. Within hours, it was amplified by several Indian media pages and social media handles.
However, the original circular, posted earlier by user Shalee Baloch on October 22, only listed local individuals placed on the Fourth Schedule — not any international celebrity.

Fact-Check Findings
A closer look at the viral fake notification revealed multiple errors and inconsistencies, proving it was digitally manipulated:
-
“Committees” misspelled as “committes”
-
“Affiliated” written as “affilisted”
-
“Persons” replaced with “persses”
-
Font style and letterhead formatting do not match official Balochistan Home Department documents
Why the Rumor Spread
The disinformation gained traction after Salman Khan’s remarks at the Riyadh Forum, where he said:
“There are people from Balochistan, there are people from Afghanistan, there are people from Pakistan — everyone is working here.”
Some users misinterpreted his statement as suggesting Balochistan is separate from Pakistan, sparking online outrage. The fake circular appears to have been designed to exploit this controversy.
Balochistan Pulse Verdict: False Claim
The claim that Salman Khan has been placed on Pakistan’s Terror Watchlist (Fourth Schedule) by the Government of Balochistan is completely false.
The circulating document is fake, misspelled, and edited, with no basis in fact or official record.
