Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has called for an immediate investigation into the recent appointment of retired officer Murad Muhammad Mari. Mari was appointed as Tehsildar of Kuchlak with additional responsibilities at the Tehsildar Settlement Office in Quetta.
The decision to investigate follows public skepticism over the appointment, which gained widespread attention on social media.
To address these concerns, the Chief Minister has tasked the Chief Minister’s Inspection Team (CMIT) with conducting a thorough inquiry. The team has been instructed to submit its findings within a week.
Subsequently, the Board of Revenue has revoked the official notification, originally issued on July 29, regarding Mari’s appointment.
