RDMC Honors 53 Students at Scholarship Award Ceremony in Nokkundi, Chagai.
Reko Diq Mining Company (RDMC), in collaboration with its Community Development Committees (CDCs), organized a scholarship award ceremony in Nokundi to recognize outstanding students from Chagai district.
A total of 53 students, including 19 female students, were awarded fully funded RDMC scholarships. The scholarships will support the students in completing a six-month foundation program at Institute of Business Administration Sukkur (IBA Sukkur), after which they will be eligible to seek admission to universities across Pakistan.
Parents, elders, and community members attended the ceremony, welcoming the initiative as a significant step toward improving access to higher education in the remote areas of Balochistan.

Addressing the ceremony, Ashley Price, Head of Sustainability at RDMC, reiterated the company’s commitment to people-centered development.

She added that student success reflects the collective support of families and communities that believe higher education should be accessible.

Certificates were distributed among the scholarship recipients, who will now begin a program aimed at strengthening academic skills, boosting confidence, and preparing them for university admissions nationwide.
