Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti reaffirmed his government’s commitment to developing the province’s underserved regions, pledging better healthcare, education, and job opportunities for young people.
While visiting his hometown of Baiker, the chief minister received updates on the Surak Dam construction in Pehlawagh and other development initiatives currently underway. He explained that the completed dam would address persistent water shortages and boost agricultural growth by creating new farming opportunities in the region.
Sarfraz Bugti met with community representatives and local leaders in Baiker, seeking advice from elders and discussing regional concerns at length. He emphasized that youth development through educational access and employment opportunities would remain a cornerstone of his administration’s development strategy.
The people of Baiker have consistently championed peace, tolerance and unity, he noted, adding that the provincial government was dedicated to strengthening essential healthcare and educational services in the area.
Sarfraz Bugti highlighted that developing disadvantaged and isolated communities ranked among his government’s highest priorities. “Balochistan’s natural resources will serve public welfare and prosperity,” Bugti stated, emphasizing that comprehensive development was the only route to sustainable stability and progress.
