Three explosions rock Quetta, one martyred and seven injured

Three consecutive explosions occurred in Quetta, one of which resulted in the martyrdom of a police officer and seven others being injured. One explosion took place near the ATF vehicle on Krani Road in the Shalkot Police Station area, injuring seven personnel, one of whom succumbed to his injuries. The injured were transferred to the BMC hospital for medical treatment.

According to the officals, the explosive device was planted on the roadside. The martyred officer was identified as Sepoy Dilbar Khan. The second incident occurred on Qambarani Road, where unidentified individuals attacked a mobile shop with a hand grenade. According to police sources, there was no report of casualties or financial loss from this attack.

The third explosion was heard in the Airport Road area, in the Kalli Shabo region. However, the police and law enforcement agencies are still assessing its nature and damage. Police and rescue teams have reached the site and are conducting investigations. These explosions once again heighten the security concerns in the city, causing fear and panic among the residents.
