Mir Allah Bakhsh Shahzad, a local Brahvi language poet and writer, was tragically killed by armed gunmen on Monday in the Sabzal Road area of Quetta, the provincial capital.
According to police reports, assailants on motorbikes targeted Shahzad as he passed through the area, leaving him with multiple gunshot wounds. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

His body was transported to Civil Hospital by authorities before being handed over to his family.
