Pakistan security forces destroyed 50 militant hideouts along the Pak-Afghan border and captured Taliban posts during Operation Ghazb lil Haq.
Pakistan’s security forces carried out a large-scale military operation targeting militant infrastructure along the Pak-Afghan border, destroying dozens of hideouts linked to Afghan Taliban elements, Fitna al-Khawarij, and Fitna al-Hindustan, security sources said.
According to officials, the Pakistan Army conducted coordinated strikes on 50 different locations during the night between March 3 and March 4, using heavy weapons against militant positions believed to be facilitating cross-border attacks.
The operations were conducted across several sectors including Killa Saifullah, Chaman, Sambaza, Ghadwana, Jani, and the Ghaznali sector.
Security sources stated that these locations had been used as launch points for attacks targeting Pakistani territory.
Officials said the strikes caused significant casualties and material losses among militant groups, although independent confirmation of the numbers was not immediately available.
Pakistani Forces Capture Taliban Post
In a separate development, Pakistani troops carried out a successful operation in the Dobandi Sector of Chiltan along the Pak-Afghan border on March 4, 2026.
After intense fighting, security forces reportedly seized control of a Taliban post, dismantled defensive positions, and raised the Pakistani flag over the captured site, signaling operational control of the area.
Security sources said the action has helped establish clear dominance by Pakistani forces in the sector, limiting militant movement near the border.
