Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal visited Tianjin to discuss new opportunities for Pakistan-China cooperation and inspected the Huan Sheng New Energy Solar Plant, further strengthening Pakistan-China ties.
Speaking on this occasion, Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal said that CPEC Phase Two offers opportunities to strengthen ports, renewable energy, and the livestock sector. He said that the Huan Sheng Plant is a fourth industrial revolution-level automated project, and Pakistan will also benefit from modern energy projects.

Ahsan Iqbal stated that Pakistan will promote biotechnology cooperation in the agricultural sector with China’s help, creating platforms to fully utilize Chinese technology and experience. The future belongs to solar and green energy, and Chinese companies should invest in Pakistan.
He visited a company that produces animal vaccines and offered to set up a plant in Pakistan. The federal minister further said that livestock is a strong pillar of Pakistan’s agricultural economy, and increasing meat exports by keeping animals disease-free is an important goal.
