Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that Pakistan and Balochistan are inseparable, urging young people to use social media responsibly and critically as misinformation and propaganda continue to influence public opinion, particularly among the youth.
The chief minister made the remarks while addressing students during the ISPR Summer Camp 2026, where more than 4,000 students from grades 9 to 12 representing over 18 cities across Pakistan participated in educational and interactive sessions aimed at promoting national awareness and youth engagement.
Speaking to the students, Bugti discussed the current situation in Balochistan, the challenges facing the province, and the importance of strengthening national consciousness among the younger generation. He also answered questions from participants during an interactive session.
The chief minister stressed that terrorism and violence can never be justified under any circumstances, emphasizing the need for peace, unity, and constitutional values.
Referring to recent international developments, Bugti praised the role played by Pakistan’s civilian and military leadership during the recent global crisis. He said the efforts of the Prime Minister and the Field Marshal had elevated Pakistan’s standing on the international stage, making the country a focus of global attention.
Highlighting the growing influence of digital platforms, the Balochistan chief minister warned that misleading information and online propaganda have become major tools for shaping young minds.
He urged students to verify information before sharing it and encouraged them to use social media with responsibility, awareness, and critical thinking rather than accepting unverified narratives.
Concluding his address, Bugti reiterated that Pakistan and Balochistan are inseparable, saying the progress, stability, and prosperity of the province are closely linked with the strength and development of the country.
