The Pakistan Army Corps Commanders Conference, chaired by CDF Syed Asim Munir at GHQ Rawalpindi, reviewed the country’s security situation, counter-terrorism operations, and rising tensions in the Middle East, according to a statement released by the ISPR.
At the 274th Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC) held at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi, Pakistan’s top military leadership, chaired by CDF Syed Asim Munir, reaffirmed its commitment to national security, counter-terrorism operations, and regional stability.
The conference began with Fateha for the martyrs of the Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies, and civilians who sacrificed their lives in the defence of the country. The forum paid tribute to their sacrifices, describing them as the foundation of Pakistan’s enduring security.
The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Staff (CDF) expressed satisfaction over the professionalism and operational preparedness of the Pakistan Armed Forces, commending their continued success in intelligence-based counter-terrorism operations. He emphasized that coordinated efforts between the government, armed forces, and citizens are strengthening Pakistan’s security, economic resilience, and international standing.
The forum conducted a comprehensive review of the internal and external security environment. It reiterated that all terrorist proxies allegedly backed by external sponsors, including India, along with their facilitators, would be targeted and eliminated without exception. The military leadership stressed that Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq would continue at full pace until militant safe havens are dismantled and the use of Afghan territory against Pakistan is decisively stopped.
On regional affairs, the forum appreciated diplomatic efforts by the government to de-escalate tensions in the Middle East, calling for restraint, dialogue, and peaceful resolution of conflicts. It reaffirmed Pakistan’s role as a responsible regional actor contributing to peace and stability.
The military leadership strongly condemned recent attacks on Saudi Arabia’s petrochemical and industrial infrastructure, warning that such escalation threatens ongoing diplomatic efforts and risks destabilizing an already fragile region. The forum noted that Saudi Arabia’s measured response had created space for dialogue, but further aggression could undermine peace initiatives.
The conference also rejected what it described as persistent disinformation campaigns and baseless allegations attributed to India, stating that such narratives have been widely discredited internationally. It further expressed concern over ongoing human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, including reports of extrajudicial killings disguised as fake encounters.
In his concluding remarks, the army chief directed commanders to maintain the highest levels of operational readiness and adaptability. He expressed full confidence in the Armed Forces’ ability to counter evolving threats and safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The meeting concluded with a strong message that Pakistan’s military remains fully prepared to address both internal and external challenges while continuing efforts to promote regional peace through diplomacy.
