Pakistan can't progress untill terrorism eliminated in Balochistan, KP: PM

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed that the Pakistan can’t move forward unless the threat of terrorism is eradicated from Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and demanded joint efforts to avert train hijacking-type terrorism attacks.

“Pakistan will never move forward until Balochistan’s development is on the same level as other provinces,” the premier stated while speaking at a high-level law and order situation meeting in Quatta.

PM Shehbaz also honored the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir and security forces for bringing back safely 339 Jaffar Express hostages who were seized by the terrorists in Bolan region of the province.

“These terrorists, during the holy month of Ramadan, did not even respect the holiness of this month,” added the premier.

Emphasizing the necessity of collective efforts to combat the terrorism, the premier stated that Pakistan cannot afford another such accident.

Praising the unparalleled sacrifices made by the security forces in the wake of Jaffar Express hijacking incident, PM Shehbaz stated that ill-motivated propaganda against the soldiers and martyrs would not be tolerated.

“Pakistan can’t be prosperous until Balochistan is brought on par with other provinces in terms of development,” the premier further added.

The prime minister stated that Pakistan Army soldiers and officers were making huge sacrifices to rescue millions of children from orphanness.

The prime minister called on all the political parties to sit together to plan a strategy to eliminate the threat of terrorism and restore economic stability to the nation.

The premier arrived in Quetta earlier today to show solidarity with the nation and assess the law and order situation in the wake of the tragic Jaffar Express hijacking incident.
