Security forces killed four terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan during an intelligence-based aerial operation in Nushki district, Balochistan, security sources said.

According to the sources, the operation was conducted after security forces received credible intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the area. A quadcopter was used during the aerial operation to target the terrorist position.

The operation resulted in the killing of four Khawarij terrorists, while another terrorist was injured, according to security sources.

The action was carried out as part of ongoing counterterrorism operations against terroroist networks operating in Balochistan. Security forces have increasingly relied on intelligence-based operations and aerial surveillance to identify and target suspected terrorist positions in areas considered vulnerable to militant activity.

Security sources said the operation specifically targeted elements affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan, with the objective of disrupting their presence and preventing them from using the area for further terrorist activities.

The use of a quadcopter in the operation also reflects the growing role of aerial surveillance and unmanned systems in intelligence-led counterterrorism operations. Such systems can provide security forces with real-time information about suspected positions and assist in the precise targeting of terrorist hideouts.

The latest operation comes amid continued security concerns in Balochistan, where terrorist groups have carried out attacks against security personnel, civilians and infrastructure. Security forces have conducted a series of intelligence-based operations across the province in recent weeks as part of efforts to disrupt terrorist networks and their support infrastructure.

The killing of four terrorists in Nushki follows other recent counterterrorism operations in Balochistan, including actions against suspected Fitna al-Hindustan elements in Chagai and Kachhi districts.

Security forces have maintained that operations against terrorist groups will continue on the basis of credible intelligence. The focus of such operations has included locating terrorist hideouts, disrupting militant networks and recovering weapons and ammunition used in attacks.

Further details regarding the identity of the terrorists killed and the weapons or equipment recovered during the Nushki operation were not immediately available.

The operation underscores the continuing security challenge in Balochistan and the reliance of security forces on intelligence-based and technology-assisted operations to target terrorist elements.

Authorities have reiterated their commitment to continuing counterterrorism operations against terrorist groups and preventing terrorist networks from establishing operational bases in the province.
