Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti held a high-level meeting in Quetta to review the province’s law and order situation and discuss ongoing efforts against India-backed terrorist groups known as “Fitna-ul-Hindustan.”
The meeting, held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, was attended by provincial ministers, senior officials, Inspector General of Police, IG FC North, DIG CTD, DIG Special Branch, and DG Levies. The participants thoroughly reviewed counter-terrorism operations and the implementation of the provincial action plan.
Both leaders pledged unwavering commitment to eliminating terrorist threats in Balochistan. Minister Naqvi declared, “Fitna-ul-Hindustan terrorists will face a disgraceful end. Indian-sponsored militants and their facilitators have no refuge in Pakistan. We honor the sacrifices of our martyrs and stand united to protect our homeland.”
Echoing Naqvi’s sentiment, CM Bugti assured that the government is fully committed to restoring peace and stability, adding, “This is not just a battle for our security forces but a fight for the entire nation.” He emphasized the importance of coordination between federal and provincial institutions to counter militant threats.
The meeting concluded with prayers honoring the martyrs who lost their lives in defense of the nation. Both leaders also resolved to intensify action against individuals involved in subversion and terrorism.
State institutions remain steadfast in their mission, and CM Bugti reiterated that the government would take all measures necessary to ensure peace returns to Balochistan.
