Balochistan is witnessing a significant milestone in its development and economic growth with the construction and expansion of the N-25 Mastung to Chaman Highway. This crucial project is advancing rapidly in phases under the supervision of the federal and Balochistan governments.
The Frontier Works Organization (FWO) is efficiently handling the construction work, ensuring high standards and timely progress. The N-25 highway connects key cities including Mastung, Kachlak, Quetta, Qila Abdullah, and Chaman, spanning a total length of 198 kilometers.
Project Breakdown
The highway construction is divided into three main sections:

Section 1: Mastung to Kachlak – 88 km

Section 2: Kachlak to Qila Abdullah – 62 km

Section 3: Qila Abdullah to Chaman – 48 km, including the 2.5 km Khojak Tunnel and Chaman border section.
In the first phase, the Qila Abdullah to Chaman section is being widened to international standards, while work on the Khojak Tunnel is scheduled to begin in February.
