
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti announced on Tuesday that new districts are being established across the province on an administrative basis, with Muslim Bagh set to be made a district soon.
Speaking at a large public gathering in Killa Saifullah, invited by Member of Provincial Assembly Maulvi Noorullah, the CM highlighted several development projects planned for the region. Among the key initiatives is the establishment of a Danish School in Killa Saifullah, a project announced by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, pending judicial approval.
CM Bugti also announced infrastructure improvements, including the completion of Sirki Road (from Margha Faqir to Karam) and the Joshan Narai to Eshwat Road, contingent on feasibility studies and resource availability. For sports development, a tractor with machinery will be provided to the local football stadium, along with sheds for spectators, players’ equipment, and Rs 5 million allocated for ground maintenance.
Furthermore, the Batinai Gate and Bazarli Terminal projects are underway to boost trade links with Central Asia and Punjab, with the federal government working toward their completion.
Regarding local employment, CM Bugti stated that as the Levies force is integrated into the police across Balochistan, job opportunities will be prioritized for the youth of Killa Saifullah.
Concluding his address, CM Bugti thanked the local leadership and people, underlining the strength of tribal respect and brotherhood in the region.
