Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and CM Sarfaraz Bugti visit FC Balochistan North headquarters and praise the force’s role in maintaining peace in Balochistan.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti on Friday lauded the vital role of Frontier Corps Balochistan in maintaining peace and order across the province.

The remarks were made during their visit to the FC Balochistan North Headquarters, where they were received by Major General Muhammad Atif Mujtaba, Inspector General of FC Balochistan North, who introduced the visiting dignitaries to senior officers and personnel of the force.

During the visit, Mohsin Naqvi and CM Sarfaraz Bugti laid floral wreaths at the martyrs’ monument and offered prayers, paying tribute to the sacrifices of FC personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty. Both leaders expressed deep appreciation for the courage and commitment of the force in safeguarding peace in Balochistan.

Major General Atif Mujtaba briefed the visitors on the training regime, operational preparedness, and professional capabilities of FC Balochistan North, highlighting ongoing efforts to counter terrorism and insurgent threats in the region.

Addressing officers and troops, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid special tribute to the sacrifices made by FC Balochistan North in the fight against terrorism. He said the force has played a decisive role in countering insurgency and terrorist networks, including elements backed by external actors.

Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti also commended the force for its unwavering resolve against terrorism, reiterating the Balochistan government’s full support for security institutions.

“The brave men of FC Balochistan North continue to combat and dismantle terrorist groups. The provincial government stands firmly with our security forces in this ongoing battle against terrorism,” Bugti said.

The visit was also attended by the Chief Secretary of Balochistan and the Inspector General of Balochistan Police, underscoring civil-military coordination for peace and stability in the province.
