Pakistan’s Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Quetta for an emergency visit to review the law and order situation and hold high-level security consultations. During the visit, he was accompanied by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti as they attended the funeral prayers of martyred security personnel at Police Lines Quetta.
Leaders Meet Families of Martyrs
The interior minister and the chief minister met the bereaved families of the martyrs and expressed heartfelt condolences. The meeting was marked by emotional scenes, with Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti visibly moved while consoling the families.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said the sacrifices of the martyrs would not go in vain and reaffirmed the state’s resolve to continue its fight against terrorism with full force. He praised the courage and determination of security personnel who stood firm against terrorists and laid down their lives in the line of duty.
“The State Stands With the Victims”
Mir Sarfraz Bugti stated that the state has always stood by the مظلوم (oppressed) and will continue to do so. He described the fallen personnel as heroes who made a عظیم قربانی (great sacrifice), adding that the people of Balochistan owe a debt to their blood.
He assured the families that every drop of the martyrs’ blood would be accounted for and urged them to hold on to patience and strength during this difficult time. He added that the sacrifices would be remembered in history and that the nation would never forget its heroes.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that the people of Balochistan and the security forces are extremely brave and resilient. He commended the effective operations carried out by security personnel against terrorists, calling their response decisive and impactful.
He emphasized that the sacrifices of the martyrs are unforgettable and that the entire nation salutes its brave sons.
High-Level Security Consultations in Quetta
During his visit, Mohsin Naqvi also chaired and attended important meetings with provincial authorities and security officials to assess the overall security environment. Discussions focused on terrorism threats, ongoing operations, and preventive security measures.
