The Balochistan Home Department has announced that mobile data services in rural areas of the province will remain suspended until November 16, 2025. Urban areas, however, will continue to have uninterrupted mobile data services.
The Home Department stated that this measure aims to maintain law and order and prevent any potential untoward incidents in rural regions. Urban areas have been explicitly exempted from this suspension.
Transport Services Suspended on Quetta-Loralai N-70 Highway
In a related move, the Home Department has temporarily suspended transport services, including taxis and private vehicles, on the Quetta-Loralai N-70 National Highway until November 14, 2025. The decision has been taken to enhance security and ensure law and order along this route.

Authorities clarified that the restrictions do not affect internal traffic within cities and local areas. Residents will still be able to travel locally to meet their daily needs.
The Home Department has directed district administrations and police to implement the decision immediately and has appealed to the public for full cooperation.
