Top military brass pledges to eliminate Indian backed proxies with full force

A day after a tragic blast in Khuzdar claimed the lives of six people, including four children, Pakistan’s military leadership reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to counter terrorism. During the 270th Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC) chaired by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, the top brass resolved to dismantle all terror proxies operating against the nation.

“These hostile elements, trained and financed to sow chaos and fear, will be dismantled with the full strength of our national will and institutional resolve,” stated the military’s media wing.

The forum collectively condemned the targeting of civilians in Khuzdar, labelling it a reprehensible act and a violation of international norms. The attack, attributed to India-backed proxies, underpins what the commanders described as India’s strategy of employing non-state actors to pursue destabilization after its military setbacks.

The meeting also reflected on recent escalations along the Line of Control, following India’s  aggression. The forum praised the success of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, launched as a decisive countermeasure in response to provocations. These operations, declared the commanders, highlighted Pakistan’s strategic restraint and operational clarity in neutralizing threats with precision.

Tributes were paid to the martyrs of the recent conflict and the sacrifices made during the Marka-e-Haq confrontation. The ISPR statement emphasized that the armed forces would continue prioritizing national security and maintaining sovereignty, ensuring that the sacrifices of fallen heroes will not be in vain.

Acknowledging the resilience and patriotism of the nation, the military highlighted the integral role of Pakistani citizens, especially the youth, in upholding the country’s resolve. The forum lauded the political leadership’s clarity and unity in navigating the nation during confronting times, as well as media contributions in countering disinformation and maintaining public confidence.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to its sovereignty, the top military commanders stated, “No force can coerce Pakistan. We will protect our vital interests through any measures necessary.”

The meeting also called for international attention to the ongoing human rights abuses in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), further asserting political, moral, and diplomatic support for the Kashmiri struggle for self-determination.

The conference concluded with Field Marshal Asim Munir commending the operational preparedness and high morale of all formations and reiterating the army’s pivotal role in internal stability and border security.
