The banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has taken responsibility for the killing of Mir Attaur Rehman Mengal in the Aranji area of Khuzdar.
According to a statement released on Monday by a BLA spokesperson, the group carried out the attack that resulted in the death of Mir Attaur Rehman Mengal and his associates.

The spokesperson further stated that the BLA’s Majeed Brigade had also conducted a suicide attack back in December 2011 at the residence of Shafiq Mengal in Quetta, though he survived that attack.
