
The MDCAT 2025 results have been announced, with only 53 percent of candidates qualifying for MBBS admissions, according to the Khyber Medical University (KMU).
A total of 39,986 candidates had registered for the test across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, of which 1,539 did not appear. The university said that 58 percent of candidates qualified for BDS, while only 2 percent scored above 170 marks.
According to the results, 9 percent of students scored between 160 and 170 marks, whereas 31 percent scored below 90, making them ineligible for admission to medical and dental colleges.
The KMU administration stated that the MDCAT 2025 results are available on the university’s official website.
The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT 2025) was held nationwide a day earlier, with 140,125 candidates registered across Pakistan. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the test was conducted in seven districts — Peshawar, Mardan, Swat, Lower Dir, Kohat, Dera Ismail Khan, and Abbottabad.
