Three security personnel, including an officer, were martyred, and eight others were injured in separate gun and bomb attacks in Mastung on Wednesday.
According to sources, a convoy of security officials was attacked in the Kabo Isplinji area of Mastung district. The attack claimed the lives of an officer and a security personnel while leaving five others injured.
In another incident in the Gul Jan area of Mastung, militants targeted security officials with an explosion. One security official was martyred, and three others were injured in the attack. Sources revealed that an improvised explosive device (IED) was planted along the road near a security post and detonated remotely to target a vehicle carrying security personnel.
