The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has detained 20 foreign nationals for human smuggling and illegal border crossing at the Pakistan-Iran border near Mashkhel, Chagai district.
According to an FIA spokesperson, the arrests were made during a collaborative operation between the FIA’s Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Taftan and Frontier Corps personnel. The individuals were apprehended while attempting to cross the border unlawfully.

The suspects, all Bangladeshi nationals, were identified as Babul Hussain, Mian Arif, Shopan, Abdullah, Muhammad Kabul, Mehdi Hassan, Al-Amin, Saghar Hussain, Najam-ul-Hussain, Habibur Rehman, Anar-ul-Haq, Rujub Ali, Sojub Ali, Asad, Rubel Mian, Arafat Ali, Ayman Akunda, and Shabbir Ali.
The spokesperson further stated that the suspects had entered Pakistan on visit visas and were intercepted near the Mashkhel border. Upon being asked to present valid travel documents, they failed to provide satisfactory responses.
The FIA has launched an investigation, with further legal actions to follow in accordance with immigration and anti-human trafficking laws.
