In a significant advancement for public safety and law enforcement, the Kharan Levies Force successfully executed a high-risk rescue mission, safely retrieving two kidnapped individuals and apprehending two accomplices involved in the crime.
As per official reports, the incident occurred on June 10, 2025, when Ahmad Ali and Muhammad Islam, who reside in Nooroz Qalat, were taken by unidentified gunmen while they were on their way to a picnic.
The incident was promptly reported to the Kharan Levies at around 3:00 PM, which initiated a rapid and strategic response.
Under the direct oversight of Deputy Commissioner Munir Ahmed Soomro and Assistant Commissioner Abdul Hameed, a tactical operation was set in motion. The operation was led by SHO Risaldar Abdul Baqi Siapad and comprised officers and jawans from various checkpoints, including Nooroz Qalat and Gardina, with the support of experienced personnel such as Yousuf Faqeer, Abdul Majeed, Naseer Ahmed, Abdul Fateh, Saadat Ali, Allahdad Shah, Shoaib Ahmed, Naeem Baloch, Atta-ur-Rehman, and Allahdad.
The rescue operation escalated into a tense armed confrontation, enduring for several hours in the mountainous region. Under increasing pressure from advancing forces and precise tactical responses, the abductors were compelled to release the hostages and retreat into the rugged hills.
The Levies effectively rescued both victims without any injuries and apprehended two principal members of the kidnapping gang, recognized as Munir Ahmed and Muhammad Qasim, who are the sons of Ghaus.
Authorities have confirmed that the anti-terrorism investigation is still in progress, and initiatives are being implemented to locate the other suspects associated with the criminal organization.
