Lecturer Dr. Usman arrested for facilitating terrorists: 14-Day remand granted to CTD

The Anti-Terrorism Court has granted a 14-day physical remand of Dr. Usman Qazi, a lecturer at Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), to the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on charges of facilitating terrorists.

Dr. Usman Qazi, a lecturer at BUITEMS, was arrested on August 12 from his home on charges of providing facilitation to a banned organization. In a video statement, Dr. Qazi has confessed to facilitating terrorist activities in multiple incidents for the banned group.
