Two laborers were injured late Sunday night in a bomb attack targeting the office of the Rakshan Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police in Kharan.
According to officials, unidentified men riding motorcycles threw explosives at the DIG office before fleeing the scene. The blast left two workers, who were present at the site, injured. They were promptly shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Police have launched an investigation and collected evidence from the blast site.
Balochistan’s Provincial Minister, Mir Shoaib Nosherwani, visited the hospital along with the deputy commissioner and senior police officers. He met with the injured laborers and assured them of all possible support.
