Six killed, 20 injured in tragic bus collision in Kalat

At least six people lost their lives and over 20 were injured in a tragic collision between two passenger buses in Kalat, Balochistan. Local authorities reported that the accident happened on the National Highway near the Raij area due to over-speeding, leaving six dead on the spot and injuring more than 20 others.

One bus was heading from Karachi to Quetta, while the other was traveling in the opposite direction. The injured passengers and bodies were transported to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for treatment. Initial reports state that the identities of the deceased and injured have not yet been confirmed.

Earlier, another accident near Hub claimed the life of one person and left 25 others injured. A passenger van carrying devotees to the Shah Noorani Shrine met with a mishap near Weirab Naddi. Rescue teams promptly transported the injured to nearby hospitals for urgent medical care.
